ASSET MICROFINANCE LTD is a Microfinance company limited by shares that focuses on providing business trainings, micro- lending and other services, predominantly to the rural and urban poor, with priority given to poor farming groups, youth and women who suffer from Unemployment and Poverty.
Asset Microfinance Ltd is a Tanzanian registered company that aims at carrying on business as financial institutional and similar organizations which receives money on deposit or loan and borrow or raise money in such a manner as the Company may think fit.
The Company is incorporated under the Tanzanian Company’s Act No. 12 of 2002. Asset M.F Ltd started its operations in 2014 as Microfinance project but became incorporated on 15th May 2017 with Reg. No 135138 as fully registered company limited by shares. The company holds the Tax Payers’ Identification Number (TIN) 134-503-521 and business license No B3111755 (renewable annually) offered by Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment. Asset M.F Ltd is under regulation of Microfinance Act of 2018, being supervised by the Central Bank, Bank of Tanzania (BOT).
